Design response
Rich veneers, brass detailing and considered lighting give the store warmth, while clean layouts and curated displays keep the collections easy to browse. A sculpted timber spiral stair links the levels.
The customer journey moves from browsing to bespoke tailoring, with comfortable seating at the tailoring counters and fabric walls displayed like a library.
Behind the colonnade, timber-framed doors open onto a store planned as a sequence: ready-to-wear first, then the fabric library and tailoring counters, with the staircase drawing customers up through the building.
The stair as centrepiece
A timber spiral stair with turned balusters connects the levels. It is both circulation and the store's most memorable detail.
